Meat Up — Restaurant Collaboration

Overview
I was invited by Meat Up, a restaurant in Taiwan, for a complimentary dining experience in exchange for creating an Instagram Reel and a Threads post.
As a food content creator, I saw this collaboration as an opportunity to combine my passion for food with creative storytelling and social media marketing.
My goal was to introduce the restaurant through authentic content while exploring how different social media platforms could communicate the same dining experience.
One Restaurant, Two Stories
Rather than sharing identical content across platforms, I adapted my storytelling approach to suit the characteristics of Instagram Reels and Threads.
Instagram Reels
Using short-form video, food photography, and editing to showcase the dishes and dining atmosphere, aiming to capture viewers' attention.
Threads
Sharing personal dining impressions through a more casual and conversational format, making the recommendation approachable and relatable.
Creative Process
From experiencing the restaurant to creating and publishing content, I was involved in turning a dining experience into social media storytelling.
Experience
Explore the restaurant, experience the dishes, and capture visual materials.
Create
Select visuals, edit short-form video, and develop platform-specific content.
Publish
Share the Instagram Reel and Threads post with my audience.

Although this collaboration did not achieve particularly high reach, it gave me valuable experience in translating a real dining experience into promotional content across two different social media platforms.
I learned that creating engaging content involves more than producing attractive visuals. It also requires understanding platform characteristics, communicating a consistent brand message, and connecting authentically with audiences.
This experience encouraged me to think more critically about content performance and how audience insights could inform future marketing decisions.
